About PT-141
PT-141 is a synthetic cyclic heptapeptide – seven amino acids joined in a ring – developed as an analogue of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). It binds to melanocortin receptors and is used in melanocortin receptor research.
