About GHK-Cu

GHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of the naturally occurring tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine, first identified in human plasma in the 1970s. Its strong affinity for copper ions gives both the powder and the reconstituted solution a characteristic blue colour. GHK-Cu is also one of the four components of our KLOW 80mg blend.

Chemical and literature references for this compound are available on PubChem, the open chemistry database of the US National Institutes of Health.

Storage and handling

  • Keep out of direct sunlight – UV light degrades the compound.
  • Long-term storage: frozen. Short-term storage: refrigerated.
  • Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
  • Once mixed with water, keep the solution refrigerated and never freeze it.

Reconstitution reference

The figures below show the concentration you get when the vial is reconstituted with peptide mixing water. They are provided for accurate laboratory measurement only.

  • 2ml water: 0.1ml contains 2.5mg (20 measures per vial)
  • 2ml water: 0.2ml contains 5mg (10 measures per vial)
  • 1mg = 1000mcg
